Fire and Goldd, by Afire Bey V out of Brassmis, was bred by Tim and Marty Shea. He’s been carrying the torch of greatness as a sire for many years and now has his own spotlight and pedestal here in our own Region 12 at Colonial Downs Training Center in Ocala.

Goldd has sired numerous National, Regional and Class A-winning performance progeny, including but not limited to: Barcelona BF (2018 U.S. National Champion Purebred English Futurity), Five Starr, Go For The Goldd, Hero DGL, Goldd Fever, Goldd Starr and Chocolate Kisses SS. His half-Arabian son Goldd Standard carried the flag for our region at the 2019 US National Championships, winning both the Open and Amateur Halter and a Top Ten in Amateur Country Pleasure Driving.

Goldd is as consistent as a sire can be. All of his get share his iconic long, hooky, upright neck, correct conformation, laid-back shoulder, smooth body and outstanding temperament. He has been bred to Arabian and Saddlebred mares from many different bloodlines and never fails to produce excellent conformation, performance, trainability and temperament. This is the type of stallion the industry needs, for all the right reasons. The Varian breeding program has produced numerous prepotent sires over the years and Goldd is no exception.
